About the Course
Parents and teachers attending this High School Handwriting Support OT webinar will gain a clear understanding of how handwriting and written-expression difficulties—such as dysgraphia—impact learning, assessment, and exam performance in secondary school . The session provides practical guidance on OT assessments, assistive technology, and evidence-based classroom and VCE accommodations, including typing, speech-to-text, planning tools, and special examination arrangements. Participants will leave with concrete strategies to support planning, organisation, and written output, along with confidence in advocating for appropriate supports so students can demonstrate their knowledge without handwriting being a barrier to success.
